More Advanced Setup

For an additional $1000 the welder could rival those used by professionals, with all the features that an amateur could ever need.  This is possible for half to one third the cost of traditional welding machines, due to new inverter technology and Chinese imports.  While most professionals still prefer the traditional brands, amateurs and light professionals are embracing the cost savings and enjoying the advanced features of these new machines.

The Everlast PowerTig 255EXT is one such welding machine.  It has capabilities not found in most machines in its price range, and comes fully loaded with accessories, such as both air and water cooled torches, quality regulator and gas flow meter, and heavy duty ground clamp.  It boasts 100% duty cycle at 200 amps, and 60% duty cycle at 250 amps, giving it plenty of power for thicker welds.  The advanced AC wave forms also increase penetration on aluminum, enabling even thicker materials to be fully joined.

Everlast also offers a water cooling unit that bolts onto the bottom of the welding machine, providing a compact unit for a heavy-duty water cooled setup.  This can fit easily on the Everlast low profile cart, for a stable and robust fixture for gas bottles, torches, and accessories.
